Official setup guide
Use a supported Linux host and review SSH/firewall requirements. Check port conflicts on 80/443, point DNS to the workload server, then install Coolify and deploy a test app. Back up Coolify configuration and installation secrets separately from application databases and volumes. Validate restores and HTTPS before DNS cutover.
No software license fee; server costs are separate. You maintain the dashboard, OS, workloads and backups. Official host minimum: 2 cores, 2 GB RAM, 10 GB free disk. VPSYOU adds a planning reserve of 1 GB RAM, 0.25 vCPU and 10 GB disk for the panel, in addition to workload and OS allowances. This is not measured consumption; builds can need more.

Recommends that independent developers with a VPS consider Coolify for GitHub deployments, HTTPS and Docker service management; server rental is still paid separately.
