Start with the billing model

Railway uses metered resources with a plan minimum. The estimate takes the greater of metered usage and that minimum; it does not add the minimum twice. Neon estimates compute-unit hours and primary storage. Fixed VPS prices describe a machine that you administer yourself, rather than an equivalent managed database service.

Check what is excluded

An estimate may omit backups, point-in-time recovery, replicas, support, tax or region-specific charges. Products that require a regional configuration or a sales quote keep their price unknown until a reproducible configuration is available.

Check freshness

Open the price evidence below each product to see the official source, last successful check and observation history. A failed update preserves the previous value and shows its age. This is a planning estimate; the supplier's current billing terms control the actual bill.
